No way, you should be using less and grep in your mail directory
under /var/spool/mail. ;-)

I guess I'm the only person that still uses WordPerfect.

I used it for donkeys years, 5.1 for DOS. Apart from images being a black
art it was great. I especially liked reveal codes. If everything went
odd you could use reveal codes to delete the offending codes.

I still do when I want a wysiwyg word processor. Otherwise I use vi and
latex.

You wimp, you should have used the DOS version. I did use the GUI version
under linux but I upgraded and Corel had stopped offering a free version
for linux.

Ah ha. I have still got the WP5.1 for DOS running under DOSEMU. :-)

The first version of WP was 5.0. When you started it all you got was a blue
screen. I don't remember how to use it anymore but it was a great word processor.
The vi/latex combination has it beat though.

The worst of all possible worlds would be for me to a liberal. I can't imagine
anything worse.

Yes, Frank, as bad as you are, that would be worse. I would kill myself
if I were you and liberal. Since you're rational about politics, but
not photography, I suggest you keep yourself alive...

That's interesting. I switched from trn to tin because I didn't like trn.
I would rather use trn then a gui based news reader.

You're right about how mail reading ends with pine. :-) The one true mail
reader (MUA) is mutt.

You mean the first Winderz version ? There was versions long before 5.
v2.2 was fir DOS. I thnk Novell bougnt WordPerfect right around the
time 5 was released. Corel bought it at v.7 and continues to own it.

Lemme help. Being a neo-con. People who have "conservative values" but
don't believe a balanced budget.
