sigma knows no bounds for lying.

they like to claim the megapixel count is the sum of all layers (which
is pure rubbish) but that would be 40 mp, not the 45 mp that is claimed
on their website.

the bottom two layers are 7.5 megapixels and the top layer is 25
megapixels.

unless someone shoots only blue subjects where the extra resolution of
the top layer might help, it's just a 7.5 megapixel camera.
