I guess thats the correct order,....since I don't
have kids or pets yet,...the photo's come first :-)

mar3105 from Lloyd Erlick,

I feel the same way. I don't have children, and my cat
died a little over a year ago. I don't have any desire
to replace all that cat hair in my darkroom, either! In
my life I've had two cats -- who lasted a total of four
decades! The most recent one died a few weeks shy of
twenty-one. I think I've done my feline duty.

regards,

Not specious at all, since in fact everything in the
universe can be described mathematically.

The best matheticians and physicists on earth disagree with you. Further,
there are many things of the observable universe (which is our humble subset
of the theoretical complete universe) which cannot be known to be
computable, and the only way to prove/disprove them is through simulation
which by conventional means is still impossible.

Every thing boils down to math, even though somethings can't
yet be explained or proven.

Notice he named not one mathematician or physicist

Even the controversial String Theory, for which there
is no observable evidence whatsoever, is given a fair
amount of credence by many physicists because it makes
mathematical sense (which is also the difference between
a troll and physicist.)

film, then scan, or shoot both digital and film.

You're beating a dead horse, Tom.

Unfortunately you're right. Marketers have won and in the long run we are all the
losers.

Yeah my FIL wasn't too concerned about storing the family photos from 1890~1955.
He just chucked them into a Samsonite suitcase and left them in the basement. No telling
how long they were down there. Funny, they look quite good for a medium so poor in
stability and stored so badly.
