Default WTB: Bargain grade Pentax Wide Angle Lenses

I'm interested in functioning yet beat up pentax KA mount lenses.

I'm mainly interested in wide angle lenses. Since I shoot a lot of action
and adventure stuff and I've lost a few good lenses I've decided to only buy
bargain grade stuff. I just dropped a $400 24mm lens 200ft to the ground and
it wasn't the first lens I've lost.

I'm looking for fixed focal lenghts in the 19-24mm range. Non Fisheye. With
a maximum aperture greater than F4 (F2.8 prefered). Clear optics are
strongly prefered.

Thanks.

Let's see... fast, wide, sharp, and inexpensive. If such a lens exists,
I've yet to find one... :)

Good Luck,

Really? Not looking hard enough, what about the K mount Vivitar (or was it
Tokina) 17mm f4? Second hand around $100. I have had two, one in Pentax K
the other FD. There is also the more expensive 17mm F4 Tamron (fit a KA
Adaptall mount) usually around $350 for those. There are many manual focus
19mm f3.5. Again Vivitar (and I think Tokina) made for various mounts. I
picked up a very nice early Sigma 18mm f3.5 in EF mount - $200. I assume
they made an PAF version. I always liked the Vivitar 24mm f2. Again in PK.
Never seen one in PKA mount.

You just need to hunt around.

Those are exactly the lenses I'm looking for. Only I want the ones that your
local camera shop laughs at when you try to sell/trade them. I only know of
a few shops that readily deal in bargain grade lenses but there are
certainly thousands of potential lenses out there.
