Default Sony A-57: does it overheat taking still pictures?

My Sony A33 overheats when I am taking still pictures in warm weather.
Today after taking 250 pics in 30 minutes, ambient temperature 80
degrees, camera overheated.
Has this problem been fixed in the A57? Still pics only; I don't use
for video.
Thanks.
Don

What do you mean by "overheated"?

Did it stop with a warning?

Did it glow red hot and prevent you from shooting?

And, out of curiosity, what warranted a photo every 7.2 seconds?

In article , Don Tuttle says...
I went ahead and bought A65. Took many pics today in short time,
90-degree temp. No overheating. Problem solved (though expensively).

And what did you do with the A57?

Edmonton, where the men are men and the sheep are nervous.
