I haven't seen $699 but Henry's sells it at $749. My pricing is based on
the high re-sale value of this lens. So put it this way--this package is in
absolutely mint condition and includes all original packaging (and still
under warranty). New (in Ottawa), it's $750 for the lens, $50 for the
hood, $133 for the filters that I'm selling with it (77mm multi-coated).
That leaves you with $933. Add the 15% tax and you're at $1,070. So
really, you're getting over $370 off the price to buy new (or $320 off the
Simon's price).

I don't think that's a bad deal at all considering everyone buying a lens
will (should) also be buying the hood, UV, and polarizer. Maybe I'm crazy
though--what do you think is a reasonable price for this?
