Default Microsoft couldn't afford a 126 meg CCD

So they built a camera with 13 small CCDs in it. They said that costs
to produce (not that it was impossible) a 126meg CCD were prohibitive.
The camera is called the Ultracam made by a company called, Vexcel and
will be used by Microsoft's Virtual Earth mapping business unit.

And your point is? Possibly that Microsoft is so rich that it shouldn't
make sensible business decisions?
