========
The DVD contains a monologue given by Walter Zapp in his own words of
the Minox story.

The DVD is region free and so will play on all modern players (either
NTSC, PAL or SECAM) computer or stand alone systems.
The DVD Walter Zapp :- Die Minox ist mein Leben includes the original
95min monologue of Walter Zapp in German and also with the English
voice over. This also applies to the 13 minute film of 1997 "Highest
Precision in the smallest format". This is effectively a tour of the
factory where you can see some of the assembly of the cameras and
production stages. The third and very short 4:33 min "return to Riga"
is shown on a return trip to his birth place and the VEF factory.
There is a glimpse of a the blue Riga - the same blue chosen for the
Minox Club special edition EC. There is a display cabinet with all the
VEF Riga products, including three enlarger types. This film is
largely without dialogue and over loud music. The transfer to DVD is
very good with a better picture quality than on VHS.

The DVD is inexpensive, not linked in to some expensive special
edition camera and a must have for anyone interested in the Minox
story.

Price 20GBP including postage etc.
