Remote Control for A60 etc
Has anyone ever seen a remote control device for the Canon A60/A70/A80
etc? I'm thinking of a small black box that would plug into the camera's usb port and let you snap a picture with a remote push button. Plans for a DIY project using a single chip microprocessor would be great. Angus |

It is possible to control the camera over USB. I had a Canon A70, and a small software tool that could power up and down the camera, and take a picture. Why would there not be a small box that could do just that?? As the protocol that does this is more or less universal (it is a set of commands that each camera supports a part of) this remote control would be kind of universal!! Good idea, now all you have to do is find a brilliant technical wizkid to build it ;-) -- Wouter F. Wessels Gouda, the Netherlands http://www.wwessels.cistron.nl/picofday.shtml |
