Dream on with those prices on the Nikon bodies. You can pick up 8008's for
under $100.00

I picked up an 8000S with MF-21. Not a scratch or mark on it for $175.00.
The S model brings a little more than the non-S, but nobody is really buying
these models.

My gawd.....
Those prices are ridiculous.
Get with the times oldass manual lenses haven't been worth that in
years.
A camera store would beat those prices hands down not to even speak
about Ebay.
Buyers beware, this isn't even honest selling at these prices, its
blatant profiteering.
Theres this thin called depreciation, you might want to look into it.

Geeze, this is America. If he wants to ask a high price, let him. If it
is too high for you, don't buy it or offer what you think is fair. Dan
has been a solid citizen for the Photo world and provides a great
resource, his lens ratings, for free. Nobody has been appointed price
police, the market has that job.

If you don't like the prices, feel free to not
buy the gear - but some people will pay a
premium to know that the gear is thoroughly
tested (unusual) and accurately described,
and that the "deal" is easily made, with no
"hassle". And, as another poster suggested,
one can always "talk price", so long as the
potential buyer is serious (I'm not going to
sell anything at 1/2 my listed prices...;-).
And, BTW, you can always find that "great
deal" on anything, but that does not then
represent a fair price for all similar items.
