I doubt if I could detect the infrared light from the TV remote.


Case proven, then. Your body can't detect infrared light. Glad we got that
sorted out.

exactly the point.

I used the example of http://media.mightyape.net.nz/images/get/100295364
I can detect that in the dark even if I'm blindfolded.


what you're detecting isn't the infrared light.
