Default FS: Canon A-1 and Canon 50mm f/1.4 FD breechlock lens

I am selling a Canon A-1 body with Canon 50mm f/1.4 FD breechlock lens.

Asking price for the camera body and lens is AUD$250. Shipping will be
at cost to the buyer, and insurance can also be arranged if required.

The A-1 comes with a metal body cap, rubber eye cup, detachable action
grip, and printed instruction manual. It has the following exposure
modes: aperture priority auto exposure, shutter priority auto exposure,
program auto exposure, and manual exposure. All exposure modes and light
metering appear to be working properly. The 2-second and 10-second self
timer modes operate properly, as does the self-timer/battery-check LED.
The red LED viewfinder display operates properly. The viewfinder is
clean and clear, and the focus appears to be accurate. Film wind is
smooth. The AT dial for selecting lens aperture or shutter speed works
properly, with clear click stops. The shutter appears to work properly.
The exposure compensation dial/button works properly, as does the ASA
selection dial. The exposure preview and exposure memory switches work
properly. The film chamber is clean and the film pressure plate shows
very minimal wear. The spring-loaded film rewind lever works properly,
as does the frame counter. The light seals appear to be in good
condition. The flash hotshoe is clean with only minimal signs of wear
(flash exposures with a Canon Speedlite 277T appeared to be correct).
There is some brassing around the camera strap lugs (mostly noticeable
on the right hand side), otherwise the camera body shows only minor
signs of wear.

The Canon 50mm f/1.4 SSC FD breechlock lens is in optically excellent
condition and comes with a front lens cap. It is also in good cosmetic
condition, exhibiting some signs of normal wear (black painted finish
has minor scuffs and scratches). It is a high-quality "Made in Japan"
optic, and this lens sample is capable of taking very sharp and
contrasty pictures. The lens has a 55mm filter thread, and filters
attach smoothly. The focusing ring works properly, with a smooth focus
action with no binding, and the rubber focussing grip is in very good
condition. The aperture is snappy and clicks positively into every
f/stop position. There is no oil on the aperture blades, which operate
smoothly. The glass is clean and the front and rear lens elements are
free of scratches. The lens mount has a few light mounting marks.

I would be pleased to answer any questions that you may have about the
camera and its lens, and I can email photos upon request.

Please respond to if interested.

Thanks for looking.
