Default Filter covers fall off!

Hi all, I'm using B+W UV filters on all my lenses. The 77mm filter
doesn't hold the cover very well at all. I've tuned my ear to
listen for the slap noise the cover makes when it hits the ground and
to date I've been lucky enough to recover the lens cover every time;
but statistically speaking my days are numbered.

Any ideas on ways to get the covers to fit better or perhaps a
recommendation for replacement covers?

Thanks,
Avery

I had this same problem...

I cut a very small piece of rubber from a glove, and super-glued it to the
sprung clip edges of the lens cap.

This made it both more snug and gave it more grip.

Seems to do the trick..

Don't use the filters...they serve no useful purpose.
