New NiZn batteries....
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7k195er0o1...mg152.jpg?dl=0
Here's a scanned ad from the famous www.reichelt.de site I mentioned in one of my oldest posts, the one I ordered the insulation tester from, unfortunately only in german, don't bother asking for a catalogue in English, there isn't one. These new batteries, although being rechargeable, have a nominal voltage of 1,6 volts, so can replace just any alkaline batterie. For the meanwhile only in AA and AAA sizes. The (Ansman) charger costs 23.50 euros, and 4 AAA for 8,65 euros, and 4 AA 12,70 , 550 mAh and 1500 mAh respectively. Has anyone tried them? |

Hi, These batteries have a very short life, pooping out after abut 30 or 35 charges. For most uses, the Eneloop and similar batteries are much to be preferred. Mort Linder |

I tried rechargeable 1.5V batteries a while ago, which perhaps are the
same ones as those you found. They didn't last long. -- Alfred Molon Olympus E-series DSLRs and micro 4/3 forum at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/MyOlympus/ http://myolympus.org/ photo sharing site |
