Sony is just known for their smart-ass novelties and making fool of
innocent, no-proffesionally learned people

Hello, Protoncek:

I agree! Sony's products had steadily worsened, long before it entered
the digital photography arena.

i've read one review of (don't exactly know model) sony dSLR and first of
all, reviewer said never go anywhere without manual - since it has so many
features, you get lost in them pretty easy, and second, don't anyone hold
your camera, since he/she may press a button and you'll take 10 minutes to
figure it out how to set all back---

Hello, Protoncek:

In all fairness to Sony, its new "Alpha A100" DSLR (if that's what
you're referring to, above) is a pretty advanced model. Thus, some
extra intricacy is to be logically expected.

couldn't exactly tell, i think it was above model. I would agree
partially... see, cameras are (i hope) ment to many people, not jsut to
above-average scientists who can quickly understand and use all
god-knows-what features. OK, it IS good to have many features, but it's
definitely not good if there are TOO damn many. Then you get lost in all
those functions, not to tell that each and every one you need you have to
look couple of minutes to get to it or find it. I'd say two things are
possible here - either reviewer has cronical disease against Sony, or since
he/she definitely held a LOT of cameras, he/she pretty well knows what is
talking about. Too much is too much, i guess. I'd have to hold and test it
to be true judge---i just wrote what i've read, it's not my opinion, neither
i decided against Sony because of this purpose. There were other stuff which
make me decide for Canon, noise figure is one of more important ones.
