Canon Lenses for the Fujifilm X-Mount!

What I find odd about this Canon X-mount announcement is where these
lenses are going to fit into the Fuji line up. In the current Fuji XF
line up there is some fast and quality glass. Add to those the Zeiss
Touit X-lenses which are superb.
So why a Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 in X-mount when Fuji has a very good
XF23mm f/1.4 and the new weather resistant XF23mm f/2?

I have the XF14mm f/2.8, XF35mm f/1.4, the XF18-55mm f/2.8-4, and the
XF55-200mm. I have several others on my wish list for next year.

Why I would need to include Canon, or even Sigma to fill out my Fuji X needs?

The blogpost was filed may -14... But since you asked: I know first
hand that the 22/2.0 is very nice and the other EF-Ms are well regarded
too. This was intended as an illustration regarding the value of rumors.

BTW: Did you even bother to check the date on that article?
May 26, 2014 tells me we are not about to get Canon or Sigma lenses in
X-mount any time soon.

Fuji lenses are better in most cases, price and performance. But Canon has a
lot more lenses.

No, point argue with you but the EF-M lenses has a good
price/performance ratio. The main complain is that there are so few of
them!

And the leak must have been putting the blogger on... Canon making
lenses for Fuji! Some folks posts anything!!! ;-)
