Default Photographer *not* hassled for photographing bridges andMississippi lock #1

Since people have posted about being hassled for photographing public
stuff, I thought I'd mention that I went over to Lock & Dam #1, and
photographed barge traffic, wildlife, and the Ford Parkway Bridge
(great view from various of the viewing platforms at the lock), and
nobody said a thing to me about it. Several other visitors were
there, and of course the lock staff (no idea how many people, they
were mostly inside, but there were 4 cars parked in employee spots).

(Using my digital Fuji S2; but really I'm posting here because I've
seen the complaints about other locations here.)

You must not have looked like a tile head, and clean shaven.

I was photographing ducks and a riverboat casino in Dubuque Iowa a few
months ago. An officious and rather nasty Coast Guard person came out
and chased me away because I was too near his little pier, There are
spots of paranoia all over the country--something I fear will get
worse.

One wonders what would happen if the politicians in Washington
thought they would lose votes every time they fiddled with the terror
alerts.

Long hair, *not* clean shaven (some photos in my pages below, but
*better* photos on Oleg's pages at
http://www.olegvolk.net/olegv/newsite/ddb/ddb.html).

Not sure what a "tile head" is. Only 438 hits in google, and nearly
all of them are based on a typo in HTML -- /tile.
