My Dye Sub Has Blacks better than Ink Jets and better Color .
"mort" wrote in message ... I get rather good prints with my portable H-P 375B, using H-P Premium Plus paper. The effect at a conference or party, in showing pictures within minutes of shooting them, is akin to the first Polaroid instant camera in 1948. My "big" H-P 7960 does make somewhat better prints, especially richer blacks. Morton wrote: I have both and my dye-sub prints much better 4x6's then my photojet printer. The dye-sub does put a clear coat on it and the inkjet does not. "Dr. Joel M. Hoffman" wrote in message ... FWIW, I've found on-line services to be so good it's hard to justify getting a 4x6 printer. But if you do get one, the inkjets seem to produce much better output than the dye-subs - though it's not what you'd expect. -Joel -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Please feed the 35mm lens/digicam databases: http://www.exc.com/photography -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- |
