Haven't used one, but

1) It's a Sigma
2) It costs $139.

So, Randall, why does this make sense to you?

I would have thought, that a higher priced lens is probably more
appropriate. In my thinking, a higher priced lens is likely to have a higher
quality level in keeping with the quality level of the camera body. The
photographic results are bound to be better in quality. Inexpensive lenses
are usually a compromise somewhere in the design and manufacture. Would you
not agree Randall?
