had a flock of green cheek conures squawk out: Do they more freely in the tub? Not much, they're held in place by the heating element. When I received the cpe2, most of them were out of place. When I put them back in, there was no sign of any type of glue on them or in the tub. Stephen -- |

Perhaps they glued them in for a while, and stopped after they noticed the heating element could hold them in. It does not appear from mine that omitting the glue would be all that great an idea, but it might save a penny or two worth of epoxy, a minute or two of time to apply the glue, and a couple of hours waiting for the glue to dry. -- .~. I've had good luck with "earthquake wax," found in art supply stores,
and used to stick small objects to shelves and so keep them from falling over in a shake. The stuff seems unaffected by water, and holds the ceramic rings fairly well, though quite reversibly. wrote: I'll leave mine "free", at last for now. Thanks! alex |
