I need an idea

I want to create a site about photography. I need some good advice and
ideaa. What's sites aren't out there already? What site would you like
to visit?

Make an IMDB type site for contributing posters of rec.photo.*

Give each member a small space to put his favorite 10-20 shots, plus a
bio, plus a small thumbnail of him/herself, plus links to his
commercial websites and other gallery websites.

Then if you become popular you might consider hosting the Shoot-Ins.

But i'll warn you now, you won't get rich doing this.

A mate of mine did a similar thing for models (a free service) so that
photographers could browse them based on their location or 'how far
they'll go for a buck'. Overall, he lost time+money but did get random
photos of cute & naked girls mailed & emailed to him for many months.
His little black book swelled up nicely too.

I had to do all the scanning for him. It was a hard life.
