Question about Jobo Processors and Expert Drums
I recently acquired a Jobo CPA-2 processor and a couple of their
"regular" drums. However I'd like to use the processor with Jobo Expert drums. The obstacle to that is the roller-assembly toward the back of the lift -- it's too small to accomodate the larger-size drums. (This is the gizmo that the rear of the drum rides on as it turns. It's simply two wheels at the far end of the lift-assembly) My questions: Can you use Expert drums in a Jobo?. Where can I get the larger-size roller-assembly? Thanks, HDG |

Question about Jobo Processors and Expert Drums
Claudio,
Thanks for that information. I have a lift with gears (cogs), but the rollers are too small. Thyis is what I'm seeking. Know where I can find the appropriate size rollers? Thanks, HDG Yes, you can use them but you need the "Lift" which places the axis of the tank higher over the processor and solves the difference in the diameter. Depending the age of your CPA-2, you may need different rollers. Fixation to the lift is not done with the magnet on the bottom of the tank but with a kind of gear (called "cog") you fix on the top of the tank. Note, the lift for the CPA/CPP-2 are different from those of a CPE-2. If you buy one used, check you also have the gear on the processor side which couples the processor to the lift. Question about Jobo Processors and Expert Drums
Stephen,
Thanks for that tip. I never noticed how the roller assembly was constructed. That solves my problem for now.
