a couple of weeks ago myself and a couple of friends, launched BlurryImage
(http://www.blurryimage.com) with the sole purpose of allowing people to
share their pictures online - fast, easy and without hassle. The site offers
more possibilities than newsgroups and will continue to add new features in
the near future.

Although after 1,5 weeks, we have already a couple of interesting galleries
and a number of registrants higher than we hoped for the first month, we are
still looking for extra participants. A 1 year account normally costs 20
euro or merely 1.6 euro/month - which is about the price of a cup of coffee.
We don't consider the price as a major problem but to stimulate our startup,
we are currently giving away 100 free "1 year accounts", which offer the
same features as the paying version - just free for the first 100
subscribers.
