Getting my Nikon D50 to display pictures I edited and outside thecamera?
I accidentally edited some pictures (.jpg files) outside the my Nikon
D50 and then copied them back down onto the memory card of the camera. Now I get an error "FILE DOES NOT CONTAIN IMAGE DATA" when I try and review the modified images in the camera. Is there anyway to get my Nikon D50 to review images that have been edited and then put onto the memory car? In this case, the images were modified by Adobe Photoshop. Can I take .jpg create somewhere else, edit it using Nikon's PC based software, download it to the D50, and get the image to display in the camera? (in review mode) Thanks Ben Slade PublicMailbox at benslade dot com (if you send me email, you'll get a challenge email to verify your email really came from you) |

[] Thanks Ben Slade Ben, My TVwriter program does this for the D70 - converts JPEGs so that the camera can read and display them. It lets you use the camera like a slide-show tool, displaying shows you carry around on memory cards. JPEGs are not restricted to ones made with the camera, allowing you to add maps or illustrations from other sources. You can try TVwriter for yourself, should you wish. http://www.satsignal.net = Image Utilities David |
