For the pixel peepers, The image ws not sharpened and all
adjustments were made in ACR & PS.

Why such low res? I'd much prefer to see the full res image. It looks
to be
quite a good image.

Sorry. Any image I may have furthr use for will be shown only in low
res, for obvious reasons.

Lo rez, fine, but at least make it fill a browser page. Or put a
watermark on it. Are your images that sought after??

I've heard complaints here about watermarks.
There was a recent occurance, and I made a decision to use low res. You
are right I could increase the pixel count in low res. but, in some
competitions thre is a limit of 750 pixels on the longest side. So also
call it habit.

Yup! I find using a height dimension of 860–960p and a width of
1100–1800p works quite well and should fit most browsers.

This one is 1296 x 940:

I don't use watermarks, and I am not particularly paranoid about
sharing my images.
Maybe I should start watermarking. ;-)

750p!!! ...and you are shooting with a D800. What sort of competitions
are you entering that all they want are not much better than postage
stamps?

BTW: What "recent occurrence"?

There was a time when size limits really mattered with online sharing &
monitor display, when there were bandwidth concerns, and some
limitations on monitors of the day. Those days are past when 750p on
the longest edge is silly given the current display sizes and
resolutions. In the past that 750p might fill a dispaly, today not so
much.

No reasons that are obvious to me, no.

You always know what someone else is thinking.
I have posted play photos, and you don't even have the guts to play. You
have never posted anything.

Is it me or was there suddenly a big drop in the number of posts to this
