Default Need advice

What is the best way to make copies of hundreds of 35mm slides?

I have several hundred boxes of slides each with more than thirty
slides in it and would like to be able to make prints from them. I
figure
that if I can get them into a digital format I can use any photo
type printer.

Is there an easy way to do this or do I need to pay a professional?

Peter

Experience users find out it is best to pare down your slides to the
most important ones and send them out to be done professionally.

If you bought a good scanner and carefully scanned the images you
spoke of you would need to dedicate weeks of work from morning to
night to transform them to digital images.
