Default Need advice

What is the best way to make copies of hundreds of 35mm slides?

I have several hundred boxes of slides each with more than thirty
slides in it and would like to be able to make prints from them. I
figure that if I can get them into a digital format I can use any photo
type printer.

Is there an easy way to do this or do I need to pay a professional?

Peter

There is certainly an 'easy way to do this'. Just buy a flatbed scanner
with slide/negative support. They don't cost much either - you can get a
good Epson from the Epson online store for $100 or less. Then plug it in
and scan away. Several hundred boxes should not take much more than a few
years of actual scan time. Or, you can hand them over to someone equipped
to handle large numbers of slides.
