I appreciate all the comments. Frankly my panning ability s*cks due to
lack of practice. These come from higher shutter speeds were my
success rate is fair to middlin'. I haven't found a good one as I
pushed to slower and slower speeds as I have begun to sort through the
~1500 captures from the weekend. Even of few of these deserve to be
culled.
That said D500+ well worn 1st gen 70-200mm f/2.8VR and TC-14II. My 1st
gen 200-400mm f/4 VR is acting up, no VR, and it really is too heavy
to carry around for the day and pan while hand holding. I typically
have used it for longer range shot up the essess,coming down the
roller coaster or tot turn one in past events.
