Fungus inside my lens, need how to manual

Hi, this is my first time to this group...I recently bought 2 camera
lens from 2 different sellers on ebay and both have fungus growth on
the inside of the elements. I have already spent almost $400.00 so
there is no way I can afford to take these lenses to a camera shop to
be fixed. I am really hoping someone can help me out here. I am
mechanical minded and if I knew the name of a good camera or lens
repair book, I could disasemble the lenses and clean them. I know if
the fungus is bad it could have etched into the optics and the quality
of the lens might not be the same but at this point I have nothing to
use. Does anyone know of a book or manual that tells how to do this?
Anyone out there every do this yourself? If so could you please share
a few tips on how to do this? Thanks so much,

I don't know of any book on this topic, but just want to mind you taking the
lens apart and do the cleaning is one thing; assemble it properly and
aligned is another. Good luck.

It depends on wheter the "fungus" is truely fungus or the separation
that can look like a fungal growth.

Some on the Pentax pdml.net discussions have placed a lens under uv
for a week and it went away. Though it may come back later, killing
what's there is a good step. And it doesn't cost much -- just a UV
lamp and a save place to put the lens and bulb.

If it's separation, then return them (assuming they were sold as being
in good condition).

BTW, what lenses did you get?
