color vision spyder and print fix conclusion

Well, I had already ordered the color vision system when these I read
these posts.

It arrived promptly actually a day early but I was not able to play with
it until this morning.

The spyder worked well. After a few passes I was satisfied with the
results.

Then I started working with the printfix but got interrupted by some
shopping my wife wanted company...something about an HGTV demo at the
local hardware.

After dinner etc I got back to working with print fix. The instructions
are complete but there are a number of places where I missed setting
options. After several attempts I figured out what I was doing wrong
and bamb! I got a test print that looks as close to the image on
photoshop as I could ever hope

I'm going to have to make up a 3x5 card and tape it to my printer or
monitor to remind me of all the settings I need to have. The main
problem I had was in having the correct settings in printing the test
patch ie "same as target". Once I printed a good test patch I was able
to calebrate correctly
