Default Killer deals on Sandisk Ultra II CF memory

For anyone interested, just last week a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II
CF type 1 card was selling for $313 at buy.com and $360 at
amazon. This week prices are $161 and $180 respectively.

Not sure why the drastic reductions, but these are some great
deals.

Wow that is pretty cheap. Last week, a friend notified me a special on
the 1GB Lexar 80x cards at Robert's Distributing (a reputable brick
and mortor, as well as e-tailer, in Indianapolis). Basically, their
deal was $150 and Lexar has a $30 rebate. I bought one.

If I had seen your note earlier, I probably would have bought one of
the Sandisk 2GB cards instead. I have had good luck with both brands.
