a newer camera)? in your opinion is the 67II worth the difference?

I bought a 67II because I really wanted the exposure compensation.
The ergonomics of the camera are quite a bit better than the 67, and
while that was nice it wasn't the main reason.

However, I found I didn't use the 67II for what might seem like a
trivial reason - no grid lined focus screen is available. I do a lot
of landscape photography, and I don't like "missing" the horizon line
by even a tiny bit. Last I checked Pentax did not make a gridded
screen and neither does Beattie. Beattie does one for the 67. I held
onto the 67II for a year and found I never used it, so I sold it.

I had a 67 that I used, then sold when I got into Koni-Omegas...the
reason being that the eye relief was not that good and I couldn't see
all four corners of the finder with my glasses on. The 67II is much
better in that regard, to say nothing of the metering improvement.

Bill Maxwell will make a screen for just about anything, with grid lines
or hash marks or paisley if you're so inclined - I put one of his
screens in an old Rolleiflex. WOW - whatta difference.
