Your right to Photograph?
"Annika1980" wrote in message oups.com... If, "The nature of the pictures Vogel took violated state law", then the state law must have been violated by the people who were displaying whatever it was that he was taking pictures of. IOW, if you are showing something in public that taking pictures of constitutes a violation of state law, then you must be in violation of the law by displaying it in public. The bottom line is that pics like this are OK: http://members.aol.com/brethogan/exhibita.jpg But pics like this are not: http://members.aol.com/brethogan/exhibitb.jpg There is an old adage in photography that says "zoom with your feet." This means that you should get close enough to "fill the frame" with your subject. This will certainly give you better photographs, but could also get you 3-5 in Texas. Yeah. Why don't they just outlaw long lenses? That way, you would have to get within a few feet of your subject in order to photograph him or her...... |
