Lens for Minolta SRT101?
I need to find a lens for my old SRT101, a zoom of about 28-90mm (or close
to that). Does anyone have a recommendation for such a lens? The camera is so old I have no idea where to start looking (small town, no photo stores nearby). Would it be an MD series lens? Thanks, Craig [to reply directly, change the VERB to a NUMERAL] |

Lens for Minolta SRT101?

I need to find a lens for my old SRT101 ... Would it be an MD series lens? MC or MD will both work fine. The camera is so old I have no idea where to start looking (small town, no photo stores nearby). You can still buy a few lenses for this system new at B&H or check www.keh.com for used lenses at good prices. |

Lens for Minolta SRT101?
Also try www.keh.com they have lots of used Minolta stuff and they are an
excellent company to deal with. They're "bargain" equipment is what a lot of people would grade "excellent". I'm not a Minolta owner but I've given them a lot of money for other stuff over the years, and I've never been dissatisfied. "Craig Williams" wrote in message ink.net... Lens for Minolta SRT101?
"Minolta Man" wrote in message I prefer the 35-70mm f/3.5 lens. It's razor sharp and in my opinion a better lens the the 28-? zooms.. I agree with this, Colyn, if you mean the 35-70 f3.5 MACRO. I think there was also a non-macro version, in addition to a 3.5-4.5 variable aperture zoom. The macro 35-70 f3.5 is so good, allegedly made in joint venture with Leica, that I own two of them. Ken |
