Default Dust on the focusing screen

Hainvg a dust problem, but not on the sensor. I've got dust on the
focusing screen. I've tried blowing it off, but some appears to be
held permanently in place by electrostatic forces, or glue or
something. At any rate, I can't get it off. It's really just a
distraction, not a problem, but it drives me crazy. Any suggestions?

Usually a Giotto's "Rocket" blower, or a chamber brush should deal with
loose dust. If the dust is stuck or persistent, then I suggest using a
sensor swab or PEC pad with spot of "Eclipse" fluid to wipe down the
interior of the chamber, including the focusing screen.

I usually buy my cleaning supplies from MicroTools & Photosolutions:

http://photosol.com/
http://www.2filter.com/prices/products/eclipse.html

Thanks. I'll give those a try. Yes, I've got rocket blower, but
even it doesn't seem to be able to get rid of these particular specks.

There is also the possibility that the dust on the screen might be on
the prism side, not the chamber side. That might require removal of the
screen for cleaning. If you are not up to that, then you might have to
find an authorized manufacturer's service center to handle it for you.

Does the camera have an interchangeable screen? If it does then you could
remove it from the camera for cleaning.
