Does anyone know how to get a decent black and white print with an Epson RX595?

It does quite well with color, but any time I try to print anything that is black and white it comes out with obvious magenta and green tones in the print. Is there anyway of either adjusting the printing, or using black and gray inks for this printer? And if monochrome inks are available, where can I find them? Or am I doomed to have to send out all of my black and white printing? If your printing B&W RGB images you have to desaturate them and that should eliminate the cross over you describe. Epson prints in general also require by my experience a 5cc to 7cc reduction in red. -- Reality is a picture perfected and never looking back. |
