exposure very inaccurate on EOS 10D?
"Giorgio Preddio" wrote in message om...
"peter" wrote in message .. . I have an EOS 10D that frequently snap photos with one to two stop over/under, judging by the histogram. This inaccuracy extends to the flash. About half the photos are like this. Now when I take photos with it, I have to check the histogram, adjust exposure and flash exposure, then re-shoot the same shot. It has been this way ever since I got it. After upgrading the firmware, it is the same. Has anyone experienced this? Also, with a 550EX attached, sometimes the flash goes into stroboscopic mode for half a second when I'm previewing the photos on the camera. This is a frequent occurance with Canon EOS products. I have heard this particular complaint too many times, from too many different Canon owners. Say what you will about Sigma SD* cameras, but exposure is always dead on balls accurate. At one time, Canon actually was a quality camera manufacturer. Once they got into the EOS line, things started to "about face" for them. It's sad and pathetic what has become of Canon. I guess that's why they continue to increase their market share every year. And btw, *plonk* |
