Nikon D5100 announced

wrote: As expected, the D5100 is an upgrade of the D5000 with a 16.2 MP Sony sensor similar to the one in the D7000 and 1080P video. There is nothing particularly exciting to report, but Nikon expects the D5100's combination of features and excellent low-light performance to make it the best selling DSLR of the range. http://www.dpreview.com/news/1104/11...nikond5100.asp http://www.dpreview.com/previews/nikond5100/ http://www.photographyblog.com/news/nikon_d5100/ http://blog.digitalrev.com/2011/04/0...100-announced/ http://preview.tinyurl.com/3garjmy Up to 102,400 ISO! Night vision devices use microchannel plates that multiply electrons and project them onto a photo-sensitive screen. If and until cameras sport that, or an EMCCD, they are NOT night vision. Spoil sport. It's a "special effect". The buying public of that level of camera will lap it up. -- N |
