What speeds do you get transferring photos over WiFi FTP from mobile device to Windows 10?
What speeds do you get transferring photos over WiFi FTP from mobile
devices to Windows 10 using the Windows 10 file explorer copy & paste? https://s15.postimg.org/9zpvpn4wb/taskman_wfi_01.gif I'm getting about 2 to 3 MBps, with nothing special running on either the mobile device or on the Windows 10 computer or on the local home network. https://s29.postimg.org/p5t1kgno7/taskman_wfi_02.gif All I do is open up the mobile device from the normal Windows file explorer and then select the photos and press control+c to copy from the mobile device and control+v to paste to the Windows file system over the local 802.11n LAN. I'm just curious if you get the same or similar speeds when transferring files over the local LAN from mobile devices using the FTP protocol from the mobile device over to Windows 10 using "copy & paste" in the normal Windows 10 file explorer window. https://s30.postimg.org/jrzgrf669/taskman_wfi_03.gif |

That's 400 times faster than what I'm getting. Do you have a screenshot of those speeds? Does anyone else get those speeds? You can test with just one file. Here is a screenshot of an 80MB video file at 1.3Mbps steady speed. https://s18.postimg.org/4lmmel22h/taskman_vid_xfer.gif [5 quoted lines suppressed] then something is very misconfigured. run a bandwidth analyzer. That's how I found the task manager in the first place. https://www.howtogeek.com/224170/how...in-windows-10/ Any suggestions for a better Windows 10 bandwidth analyzers? http://windowsreport.com/bandwidth-monitors-windows-10/ |

Any suggestions for a better Windows 10 bandwidth analyzers? try http://netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu, which is designed to analyze internet connections, but it can also find issues with local networks. the only drawback is that it requires java. |
