Philips process timer PDT 2015

I am currently putting my darkroom back together in my basement; I used
to do a lot of photography but haven't had a darkroom set up since I
moved 18 years ago. I have a PDT 2015 and the associated PDB 2053
probe, but I can't remember how they work and I can't find the manual.
Can anyone give me a description of how it works? Thanks.

I don't have one of these or a manual for them, but I do have a book
entitled "Philips Darkroombook" that gives brief descriptions of them. I'd
be willing to scan the relevant pages and e-mail them to you if you like;
just tell me (by e-mail if you prefer). I'd rather not fire off big scans
uninvited, though.

This is interesting. I'm in the same boat. I moved into our current
house 18 years ago and had to leave behind my darkroom. I've had my eye
on a spot in the basement, all these years, and this fall have started
to put up the stud walls, etc. to get a darkroom back together. A
couple of months ago I bought a Philips PDT 2015 at a photo swap event
outside of Minneapolis and am now trying to figure it out. I found a
site in England that will sell a copy of the manual and will post a
link below. Last evening I gave the timer to my son (senior
math/physics college student) and asked him to figure it out. Let's
keep in touch and see if we can make this thing useable.

I've just sent the pages to both you and Ben. If either of you doesn't get
them, please check your spam filters and tell me if they weren't

I have the original manual. So if you have some very specific questions
I can try to look it up. Never used the probe.
