Rolleiflex SL2000Fs with *ZEISS* lenses (and the wannabees make do with

Sigma EX aren't bad. My only Non Nikkor is a 50/2.8 1:1 EX D AF - its
a respectable lens by all accounts. Not on par with a 50/1.4 AIS of
course.. but that lens ain't 1:1 - nor even a macro of course.

However Sigma have to make up for 20 odd years of producing crap lens
that fell apart in their users hands. It's gonna be an uphill struggle
for them with any pro.
