At that speed, you're probably correct that taste has little to do
with it.
These guys are tremendous athletes. I'll probably never win the
Masters, but I'll come closer to winning the Masters than I will to
eating 100 hamburgers in 8 minutes.

Enjoy it while you can. Some day, one of the competitors will die
right on stage and all the pantywaists will be clamoring to ban the
sport immediately.

need a 200/2 Nikkor to optimize that shot.

Right! That looks like a deformed Yorkie. Tony, I know you love it, but
next time get yourself a real dog, not one of those curtain ****ers.

She's a standard (full-bred but not pedigreed) cocker spaniel of
average size for the breed. A bit wide in the beam as aged females
get. I think she's about 40 pounds now. She's 16 years-old.

She needs a trim badly, but gets very snappish with the groomer
because her old bones ache so much she doesn't like to be handled.
We've never had her groomed with one of those fru-fru spaniel cuts.
