Nice pictures of a wonderful place that I would love to visit. Two things have always fascinated me about what was Czechoslovakia. One is the music, with composers like Smetana, Weinberger, Martinu, Janacek and many, many more. The other thing is that the West Texas city where I was born had lots of people of Czech descent, most of whom that I knew in school were good, hard working students with impossible last names, such as Drgc (that isn't a typo); Austin, where I have spent the last 60 years, has a number of Wends, all of whom I knew at work were great people. Some of the pictures from other countries that get posted here fire up my jealousy engine to full speed. Allen |

Remember Prague, Kutna Hora, and Cesky Krumlov well. That church with all the bone/skeleton "artworks" - coat of arms, chandeliers etc. Amazing architecure everywhere. Brings back memories. And the beer. Mmmm, beer. Birthplace of Budweiser. -- Troy Piggins - I always appreciate critique [SI] Shoot-In http://www.pbase.com/shootin |

Ah! So the very first ones I saw. Thanks. I one day will dip my feet in said river, due to my affinity for the classical piece of said name. -- john mcwilliams |
