Hi Joseph, Thanks for the comments, with this type of spider it's actually a characteristic that they face downward to pounce on their victims. And yeah it would have been too hard to get the web, I will try again on another night when the wind isnt blowing so hard. Mick |

Hi Joseph, Thanks for the comments, with this type of spider it's actually a characteristic that they face downward to pounce on their victims. I suspected that was the case, and if you were to display the photo to an audience that would know that, you would be advised to get it right, as you did. On the other hand, as a purely artistic product, I would turn it up-side-down. :-) BTW It is a very nice job. And yeah it would have been too hard to get the web, I will try again on another night when the wind isnt blowing so hard. Mick -- Joseph Meehan 26 + 6 = 1 It's Irish Math |

Hi Mick,
I think you used a very small aperture, because the background is black. For my opinion the background isn't favorably. With a mixture of flashlight and natural light, you would get a more natural picture. Please have a look at my spider, you will see what I mean. http://home.tiscali.de/naturfoto/db_..._small_161.jpg Regards Siggi -- Homepage www.naturundfoto.net Fische www.aquanet.de/Privat/naturaquarium/ phone +49 30 755 18 770 Mick Brown wrote: Any hints tips comments would be appreciated. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3143307 Mick Brown www.photo.net/photos/mbrown -- Homepage www.naturundfoto.net Fische www.aquanet.de/Privat/naturaquarium/ phone +49 30 755 18 770 |
