We've all heard the horror stories, about how formerly prestigious
brands from the U.S. are now putrid (Fram oil filters, Rubbermaid, as
examples of products that had severe cost-cutting imposed by Walrmart
and the like) mostly because of the dumping of inferior Chinese
rubbish.
Not the stuff like name-brand cameras, whose production is controlled
by JAPANESE technicians (though there have been quality lapses, it
does not appear to relate to Mainland Chinese production facilities),
but the real JUNK from China, designed and made there.
I have 2 UPS units for my computers. One of them stopped working.
Why? The CHINESE made 12v lead acid battery not only stopped
charging, its case burst open!! I hear their CRAP is now appearing as
counterfeit parts in cars. Just imagine the carnage that is to come...

Speaking of junk, something that's truly shocking is the state of the River
Citarum, in Indonesia:

Just mind blowing!

The Oriental countries simply do not care about pollution and land and
water degradation, hence, most of the water sources and land in Asia are
horribly polluted. All they care about is money, pure and simple.

I'm not sure where it comes from, but there is also a huge area containing
six million tonnes of plastic in the North Pacific off the coast of CA (The
Pacific Gyre), which is twice the size of Texas. And that's just what's
floating, I dread to think what else is dumped at sea.

Makes you wonder whether low fish stocks are really caused due to
over-fishing, or whether it's due pollution..

You mean the [communist] Chinese are more capitalist than the Americans?

No.
That is the problem. There are no absolute "right and wrong" neither are
there any moral absolutes.

Can you give me any absolute "right" or "wrong"? I bet I can construct
a scenario where it is not absolute.

Cooking and eating your host.

Only if it kills the host - you don't have to eat it all. By mutual
consent, you could agree to just take a few slices or a non-lethal
amputation, and share a BBQ.

Is this a "right" or a "wrong"?

it depends on your host, but for me most meats have to be cooked first.

Reminds me of the one where a wife back from a psychology course
and her hubby says I bet you can't make me happy and sad at the same time.

So she thinks for a while and says.

"Out of all of your friends you have the biggest penis and are the best in
bed."
