Default convert "quick" release to "slow" release tripod head plate

I have a manfotto with a quck release plate, fine.
But I now have several other hide/car window brackets, mini tripods
etc for camera and telescope that do not. Not to mention lenses that
mount to the tripod, so the quick release becomes a slow release pain
in the bum(ass).
Does a gizmo exist that turns a quick release plate back into a
conventional "twiddle the knob" quicker slow release?
