Default (Almost) Ultimate Minolta X-700 Accessory Kit

(Almost) Ultimate X-700 Accessory Kit - $225

Motor Drive MD-1
Power Grip II (with both cables)
280PX Flash
CH-5L case (accommodates longer lenses than the CH-5)

First the Motor Drive MD-1:

This will drive your camera at 3.5 frames per second in HI speed, 2 fps in
LO speed, and also has single shot mode. The MD-1 also serves
as a vertical grip, including a well-placed shutter release button. The
MD-1 has been my mainstay for our daughter's soccer games and
other action shots. In my opinion, this is THE must-have accessory for the
X-700 (or X-570 or X-370).

It is in perfect functional condition and excellent cosmetic condition (only
very minor signs of use). There is no battery compartment
corrosion at all.

Next the Power Grip II:

The Power Grip II supplements the batteries of the 360PX or 280PX, enabling
flash sequences at up to 3.5 frames per second with the MD-1.
The grip can be mounted on either the left or right side of the camera body,
and incorporates a shutter release button which can be used for
the MD-1 (with Cable MD). The Power Grip II also includes a bounce and
swivel head, enabling the use of the 280PX in bounce mode if
preferred. Additionally, the position of the flash to the side of the camera
reduces the occurrence of red-eye. The camera's TTL controls
are connected to the Power Grip II through the use of Cable OC, ensuring
correct flash exposures. The grip features a power saving
feature that turns the flash and grip off after two minutes of inactivity,
requiring only a simple press of the reactivation switch to turn it on
again.

The set is in outstanding condition, and includes both Cables OC and MD and
the original owner's manual (very good condition).

Next the 280PX Flash:

The inclusion of this flash is the reason this kit is (Almost) Ultimate.
This is the little brother to the 360PX, which is a more
capable flash (and which I am keeping). However, as noted above, the 280PX
gains bounce and swivel capabilities with the Power Grip II.
The 280PX has a guide number of 28 meters, and offers TTL flash capability,
plus full manual, with a "high" and "low" setting. It
incorporates thyristor circuitry enabling winder synchronization at "low"
power. In TTL mode, the flash incorporates a FDC (flash distance
checker) LED, that confirms correct exposure.

This flash is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and functionally.
The previous owner allowed some minor battery corrosion, but I have cleaned
it and there are no lasting effects. The flash comes with the original soft
case and wide angle diffuser,
both also in excellent condition.

Finally the CH-5L Case:

This is the factory case for the X-700 and its relatives. The "L"
designation means that it is slightly longer than the CH-5 case, so
you can keep a moderate zoom lens on your camera. I bought it new, and it
has hardly been used. I even have the original box for it.
(This item is optional, since I would really like to keep it, but I included
it in the kit for completeness. We can discuss a discount if
you don't want it.)

[Some of the descriptions have been excerpted from the excellent website
www.rokkorfiles.com. I take full responsibility for the
actual descriptions of the items and their condition.]

Pricing:

The entire kit is for sale for a competitive price of $225 (plus actual
shipping from ZIP 38555). If after a reasonable time I have
not sold the kit, I will consider selling individual components. If you have
questions, I'll be glad to answer them on-list. I can provide as many photos
with as much detail as you want.

hopefully figure it out.]
