Default FS: Ricoh GR1

I have a mint Ricoh GR1 for sale. If you follow 35mm film cameras you
already know how highly this camera has been rated. This camera has
seen very little use. In fact, it's not even had film (or a battery)
in it for over 2 years. (I've gone digital.) The camera is absolutely
mint, no scratches, scuffs or signs of wear. This camera has the black
magnesium case. Included is the manual, but no box or case.

I'd like $300 for it. The buyer will pay all shipping, packing and
insurance costs.

Any questions,please email me.

Below is a blurb borrrowed from another recent seller of a GR1 that I
borrowed to identify specifications.

An Exceptional MTF that demonstrates high quality.
The design of the GR 28mm lens was based on a simple performance
target. Full picture frame with sharp picture from corner to corner.
The success of this effort is an MTF chart test pattern of ten
lines/mm. An extremely high overall result (above 95% at the lens
center) even when the aperture is fully open at F2.8.
Generally speaking, MTF values of greater than 60% for 10 lines/mm are
considered good, while those greater than 80% are considered
"excellent".

A multi-coated optical glass lens unit with 7 lenses in 4 groups with
two aspherical elements. To achieve the very best results Ricoh
introduced a new technique for selecting the closest matching lens
combination for each unit, adjusting the spaces among the lens groups
and the optical axis. In other words, each assembled lens is custom
made for maximum performance and maximum satisfaction of each
customer.

Distortion correction for natural looking images. Ricoh's lens coating
technology provides color reproduction on a level with some of the
world's finest lenses. The lens has been designed to meet the strict
performance requirements of color slide film.

A seven blade shutter for a nearly round lens aperture.
While most compact camera designers ignore this factor at the design
stage, the designers of the GR-1 specified a high quality shutter with
seven-blade aperture for a nearly round iris.

Center weighted meter for advanced requirements.
The GR1 provides both a conventional average metering system and a
center weighted system, so you can chose the best exposure metering
for any situation.

Aperture Priority AE.
The GR1 incorporates aperture priority AE to meet the demanding
requirements of advanced photographers. You can set the aperture from
f2.8 to f22 in ½ steps in order to achieve the desired aperture
effect.

Exposure Compensation Dial.
This dial compensates exposure from ± 2.0 EV to - 2.0 EV in half
steps, to enable the expression of intentional exposure effects,
especially in slide films where print compensation isn't possible.

Electronically controlled shutter with timed mode.
The electronically controlled seven-blade shutter includes a special
timed mode, similar to bulb mode, to enable extended exposures for
still object photography and nighttime photography.

Passive type multi auto focus system.
Unlike conventional active-type AF systems, this passive type system
can focus on objects located on the opposite side of a transparent
window.

Extra clear bright frame viewfinder.
The GR1 has a genuine bright frame viewfinder, with high quality
optical lenses and a high accurate prism to ensure an extraordinary
bright view even under low-light shooting.

Magnesium alloy die-cast body.
The designer's of the GR1 chose a new magnesium alloy over titanium
used in many expensive compact cameras in terms of accurate processing
and freedom of design. With dimension's of 117x61x26.5mm (WxHxD)
(4.6x2.4x1.0 inches). This camera is ONLY 1" in. thick!
