There was a similar story in American Photo a couple years back - the special 9/11 issue. It showed a Canon digital, destroyed while the photog carrying it approached the WTC, and was entirely too close to it when it collapsed. Apprarantly the data still was recoverable from the card. The photog did not survive though. Mike |
