God help the U.S. I will ignore this useless request...;-) CNN: CIT files for 5th largest U.S. bankruptcy Small business lender seeks court approval for a debt reorganization that has approval of bondholders. If you think this is bad (and it is...), think how FAR, FAR, FAR worse a total economic collapse would have been under a "I don't know anything about economics" John McCain administration and the "let's do nothing" 'Bublican'ts. And, don't forget what knuckle-headed president and administration passed this mess on to Obama, You can't use that explanation. The leftists claimed 9/11 was Bush's fault ... not Clinton's, who dismantled the spy machinery. After 9/11/2009 ANYTHING IS OBAMA'S FAULT. I find it very difficult to follow your "logic"....;-) You expect logic from a rightard bigot? Actually, the economic state America finds itself in now is not Obama's fault, it's Clinton's and Allan Greenspan's. And a rightard bigot chimes in with more of the usual stupidity. -- Ray Fischer |

How stupid do the neocon's think the world is? CNN: Unemployment hits 10.2% The unemployment rate spiked to its highest level since 1983, much worse than expected as employers continue to trim jobs despite other signs of growth. 1983? Hmmm. Who was president in 1983. -- Ray Fischer |

Reagan engineered that recession because he had to. This is where the rightard makes excuses for his cult's hero. Something had to be done to crush 13% interest rates, 11% inflation that had plagued the U.S. since Ford's days. He did it. By 1985, the U.S. was well back on track. Or the economy stabilized after a big jump in oil prices. But what Clinton and now Obama have done to the U.S. You mean that era of limited government and widespread prosperity? will be insurmountable. No, you rightards will find a way to screw over America again. Just as Bush did after Clinton. That's why the US economy does better under Democratic administrations. -- Ray Fischer |
